I stand there staring at an empty dark room. The disgusting smell of dirty clothes fills my nose. I see a faint beam of light coming from around the corner. I slowly walk down the hallway and turn the corner, it looks like it would be the bathroom but the door is closed. I press my ear against the cold wood. There is movement and I hear a loud crash that sounds like metal colliding with the floor. I grasp the door knob and twist only to find out that it is locked. I listen for anymore movement on the other side of the door. I see a room and dart inside when I hear the door knob start to jiggle. I’m in what looks like a bedroom with stuff thrown everywhere. The bathroom door creaks so I point my gun ready to blow his head off. I see a slim arm push open the door and I am confused when a women walks out. I step out of the shadow and say to her “Stop. Right where you are.” She is a tall slim women with dark hair and dark eyes. I ask her if she has seen the man that lives in this apartment. She says that he left hours ago and hasn’t seen him since. I hold my gun pointed at her as I look around trying to figure out what to do. The next thing I know something from behind me jumps on top of me and is knocking my head into the ground. My gun gets flung to the other side of the room. I grab their neck and sling them into a choke hold just in time to realize that this was the man I came to see. I am bigger and stronger than him so I grip his neck even tired while he struggles for air. I drag him over to get my gun and tie him up. The woman that was once in the apartment had disappeared. I pull the bed sheets off of the mattress and tie his waist, legs, and arms to a kitchen chair. He doesn’t say a word as I check his pockets for weapons. I stare at him with my gun pointed right at his forehead, deciding whether or not I should pull the trigger. This man is about the age of 35 he has wrinkles from exhaustion and a 5 o’clock shadow. After what seems like an eternity of silence I hear footsteps down the hall and turn just in time to realize who it was. The cops had finally arrived and it was time for me to finish my plan. I hold my gun to his forehead. I whisper to him “Tell the cops what really happened or I will pull this trigger and you will die.” The cops see what I am doing and yell at me to drop the weapon. I wait for him to admit the truth. “TELL THEM” I screamed in his ear. I think at this point he knew that I would never leave him alone until he confessed. I will never give up. I will not be framed for a crime that I did not commit. “He’s innocent..” he said as he struggled to be untied. The cops stare at me with confusion plastered all over their face, and then they realize that I am the man that has been wanted in the whole city I am the man that escaped and risked everything to show my innocence. “He did not kill her.. I did.” Said the murderer. I lower my gun and hand it to the cops. “I’m innocent.” I say.
